Today we had Clara's 4 mo. checkup. Dr. Stacey is pleased with her progress. The reflux seems to be getting under control and we have managed to avoid giving her medicines for it. As she gets bigger and starts eating more from the spoon we should see more improvement and hopefully we will be able to stop putting cereal in her bottle.
At weigh in time she was 16 lbs. 14 oz. and 25 1/4 inches long. (For those of you wondering, she is exactly 2 pounds lighter and 2 inches sorter than Lily at the same age. I won't even begin to compare her to her big brother at 4 months :)!)
While we were at the doctor's office some friends of mine took Felix and their kids on a 1/2 mile hike. There is a nature preserve smack in the middle of Bham, called Ruffner Mountain. (Seriously, in the matter of 1 city block you go from being in the middle of the city to the woods)The path they were following was called the Geology Trail. He had a GREAT time (he just got home and is now sleeping). They saw lots of birds and tadpoles while hiking, and then in the animal rescue area they visited with turtles, snakes and owls. Already he is requesting to go on another hike. I'm sure he will be ready for camping in no time!

Aw, she's growing so fast! Jilli had her 6 month check-up yesterday & is just a little over 17 lbs. & almost 26" long.
I'm so happy to hear her reflux is getting better & hopefully she'll LOVE her food as much as Jilli does! ;-)
Sounds like Felix had such a blast!! Sounds like a place I'd LOVE to visit!!
