Last night was one of the last birthday parties of the school year. One of Felix's good little buddies. The mom and I have become very good friends over the past year when our kiddos met at summer camp and then were in the same preschool class. The party was held at Pump it Up in Pelham. A place with LARGE inflatable slides, jumping/bouncy rooms, etc. So off we went.
Lily was so excited at the slide, so Paul took her up it. And then again, and again, and again. It was a steep/slipper climb to get to the top, so she had to have help. But after a couple of times up, she was a pro at going down on her own. It was a pretty tall slide too, so you could really pick up some speed!
Paul even took Clara down it once (she was not as inthralled as her big sister though)
Of course all the kids at the party had a great time, and were TOTALLY worn out. No protests about bedtime last night. I think everyone was asleep within about 2 minutes of walking in the door.
Today we are over to a friends house to swim! Summer is def. here!

Hope the "big" kids had fun, also!! Sounds like it was a blast!! Mom
Tim works at a similar party place here--"Jump2It". After his first afternoon working, he said, "I don't like parties!" He "gets" to carry the little kids up the slide sometimes, sometimes he just sits at the top and reminds them to sit down before going down (he says he's pretty good at catching them before they bounce on their heads). Gets to pass out pizza and cake, too (sometimes gets to eat the leftovers). Money is definitely a good motivator--and when you're 17, it's hard to find a job that you can work around school and soccer. This place seems to beat the craziness at Chuck E. Cheese!?! I'm hoping it holds out for him--at least over the summer. Sounds like your bunch are real "party animals"!!! Enjoy!!! Aunt Janet
