We have survived! The carpool line took a while this afternoon (45 min... the girls were getting kinda grumpy). Once the kids really have routines down it will get better.
Felix had a GREAT day! He was so excited when I picked him up about everything they did. OK, so he was a little upset they didn't get to do the climbing wall in PE today, but otherwise he had a lot of fun. They took a tour of the school, went to PE, played on the playground, read stories (the one he remembers most is "If you take a mouse to school"). He gets to be the lunch helper for his teacher Mrs. Kennedy this week, so that is just icing on the cake for him. Best of all, he's already talking about going back tomorrow and how much fun it will be.
I can't speak highly enough of the school. They have done a wonderful job helping the kids transition to the idea of kindergarten. He is in good hands!
