Fall

This has got to be one of my favorite times of the year...
The cooler weather, the outside time, the holidays, it's all just so perfect!!
In the last two days we have visited the local botanical gardens and looked at all the scarecrows, we have cuddled under blankets in the grass, sipping cider and hot chocolate and watching Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin, we have played until our noses were sniffly because of the cold air (I'll probably pay for that about beginning of the week). Now if only I could find somewhere around here to go and pick apples!

We got to watch the turtles get all lined up on the log. There was a snake swimming around too.... EWWWWW!!

These scarecrow bots have got to be my favorite of the whole exhibit!

This child is too photogenic for her own good-- even with windblown hair and a sniffly nose from the cold...


The queen of polka dots keeps us all on our toes! When did she get so tall???? (by the way, that's Clara... just in case there was an question about that)


This one is just determined to give me a heart attack before my time. Or he's trying to catch up with his sisters on the stiches count/ER visits...The name of the game for him is to climb, climb, climb... the higher the better. Oh yeah, and then you must jump from whatever new insane height you've reached! ACK!

About half way thru all the climbing and romping I realized Clara's shoes were on backwards... Crazy kid...

And we won't discuss what sort of potty language was going on that made them all look at the camera at the same time... :).

Next week the isanity continues as we prepare for HALLOWEEN!!!
