March is Young Artists Month (or YAM), so the school is hosting a yam decorating contest. You can decorate them in the style of your favorite artist, or to look like your favorite artist, character, musician, etc. Felix was really into this! No suprise that ours took on a star wars theme....He used a cartoon picture as a guide to figure out where to put the wrinkles, and searched the backyard for the perfect leaves that would mimic yoda's pointy ears. Even as a yam, Yoda is kinda cute!
