Felix has been enjoying a 4 day weekend from school. Bad weather makeup days that we have managed not to use this year. Having him home with no real schedule, no where to be, no lunches to pack... it's making us all wish for summer to get here a little sooner. It's been a slow going, let's see where the day takes us adventure around here. Yesterday found us at the zoo! It was chaotic because many schools in the area were not out of school and a lot of them were taking field trips to see the animals. The kids had a good time, but I spent most of the outing paniced, trying to make sure that I still has all three kids with me :).
See the pictures below of us "down on the farm". The kids zoo here is awesome! Lots of fun interactives and tame animals for the children to touch. Clara was in love with "Rosie" the goat.
And finally, Lily has slept thru the night post surgery! I was beginning to think we were never gong to get to this point, but it's amazing how she has improved in the last few days. Better appetite, no need for pain meds and finally sleeping all night again! Wahoo!
