Where does the time go?

I can't believe that Clara is five months old today! Where have the last five months gone?

She and Lily are developing some pretty special bonds now. I think because Clara can now interact more and play with toys, Lily has suddenly decided that she is a real person. The girls now take their baths together in the evenings. Clara sits in the little bath ring and Lily just thinks it too cool. It's so sweet to see them smiling at each other.

Lily has even ventured enough to hold her baby sister. Tuesday night while Paul was standing in the kitchen holding Clara, Lily walked up and points to Clara and says "HOLD?". Then "ME SIT". It was clear she wanted to hold the baby. So with very watchful eyes (and mommy taking some pictures) Lily sat and held her sister for the very first time. So sweet! Can't wait to get that film back!

Felix is enjoying the best of both worlds. He really is a great big brother to both of the girls. At least when he is choosing not to push buttons and frustrate them (I'm told that never goes away... I think Daddy and Aunt Chris are probably a perfect example of that ;)!). He loves having someone to run thru the house with in Lily and someone to hold and cuddle with in Clara. And the best part is that they both still nap, so usually at some point in the day he does get the undivided attention of Mommy. Sounds like he has the perfect set up. (At least until he starts having to fight them for the bathroom).
