Spring break...

We spent spring break visiting grandparents in MS. You just can't beat the spoiling fun of two Papaws and Nana and Toebee.

Only a Papaw would dig up a big old pile of dirt with a "dirt mover" and then let you play in it. In his defense he was trying to cover a pipe that rain had washed the dirt off of... but the kids didn't care-- Papaw just scored really big cool points in their book, both for having a "dirt mover" and then for letting them completley muddy themselves playing in it.

The dirt man...in memory of our snow days this year..

Meet Slobers. The cat actually slobers when you pet it. It's crazy. Clara spent most of the 2 days staring under the stairs of the deck saying "comm-her schwobers..." (translation--come here slobers)

Every so often Slobers would seek refuge from all the little hands with Toebee. Which meant that the girls also would seek refuge with Toebee. Poor Slobers, he just couldn't escape the lovin. Of course, I'm not really sure he minded all that much....

Then we headed 76 miles further south... but there is no direct way between here and there, so it took almost 2 hours....

When we arrived we found the stunning beauty of this Japanese Magnolia. This was our first trip to Nana and Papaw Ray's new house, so there was lots of exploring to do!!

Just one more flower picture...

Ok, I lied... here's the last one...

And _then_ we went off to find a tree to climb. I think that if I had provided food and water, Felix would have stayed up there the entire time.
