Visiting Santa

We headed over to the mall to visit with Santa yesterday. I was amazed at how well it all went. There was only about a 10 minute wait and everyone was excited. The girls colored Santa some pictures, and everyone was all smiles.

When it came to picture time Clara refused to look at the camera, or to smile, but she sat in Santa's lap!! As soon as the snapshot was done, she jumped down and told Santa of her one Christmas wish-- a purple toothbrush!

The ever shy Lily was so excited to sit with Santa! But when it came time to talk to him, she froze up and burried her head in my leg. It was just too much for her :).

Felix of course was an old pro. I can't even remember what he told Santa he wanted for Christams--maybe I should have paid more attention since he hasn't really indicated anything he actually wants for Christmas.

Santa was the best, gushing over the girls pictures, nodding and smiling and telling them to be good boys and girls that Christmas was almost here! And then he handed each of them a candy cane and we were on our way, with questions about where the reindeer were and why he didn't bring them. I tell ya, these kids can keep you on your toes with Santa questions!

All in all a successful Santa visit!
