Random thought #1:Potty training...
The saying that the third one should be the easiest one... that they have thier older siblings to follow after, etc. etc... NOT TRUE!!
She's so much more indpendent minded than the other two. I guess that will serve her well when she is older.
It's always on her terms with the potty thing, and when she doesn't want to do it there is no making her do it. She will turn down all the major bribes, etc. if she isn't in the mood to sit.
Now, if she decides she likes your potty then watch out b/c she will be on it constantly and if anyone else needs to go they will just have to get a clothespin and wait in line.
Go figure that she would be the most complicated one....
It should be pointed out here that the only reason that we are going thru the process now is because SHE wanted to do it. Refused to put on diapers, only wanted underwear. So, this really was HER idea.
She seems to forget that pretty often.
Almost 2 weeks down... no going back now! We are a diaperless house! (WAHOO!!) Pullups at night for a bit yet, but I can deal with that.
Random thought #2: House elves...
I'm still in search of the house elf sign up sheet. I particularly need one that is good at doing the laundry and ironing. Let me know if you find them!
Random thought #3: Valentine's day....
I still haven't done anything for the hubby.... and I'm running out of time FAST! The kids I have covered.
Random thought #4: Felix's birthday...
We run into this every year. His birthday backs up to spring break. He'll be burdened with that scheduling conflict his whole life.
[Well, maybe not once he's out of college but before he has his own family... that will be his reprive from the spring break phase.]
Why on earth in insist on scheduling his party early (before everyone leaves town for break) I don't know. I could just as easily schedule it for after break, but for some reason I don't.
So in addition to everything else going on with parties at school and spring sports starting I run around like a mad woman trying to get a party together.
Random thought #5: long weekend...
I honestly had forgotten the kids would be out of school on Monday until someone pointed it out to me! Guess I should locate the calendar I put aside a week ago, maybe I really do need it :).
Happy Friday!

I so adore your sense of humor, my friend!! We are doing the potty training thing with Jilli so I can totally relate!! She wants to wear her pretty little princess panties, but she sure doesn't want to go on the big potty! They certainly have minds of their own, don't they???
Hang in there, sweets! Patience IS a virtue!! LOL!!
HUGS!!!!
No doubt about it, she IS her father's daugher!!!
To quote Felix, oh, I mean, Luke Skywalker: "The Force is strong in our family; My father has it, I have it, my sister has it...."
Loving all of your cute faces!!!! Mom/Gramma
