Happy First Birthday, Clara!

I honestly just can not believe that she is one! Where has the year gone? She's so big, and walking/running so well now. We are starting to hear more and more words. She's had "Dada" and "Na-Na" (which means "no-no", complete with head shake) for a while. But now I am hearing "Mama" more, and "Pu-e" (Puppy), "A-boo" (when we play peek a boo), and "Takdo" (thank you). I know it's only a matter of time before she is talking in complete sentences! Yesterday when Paul was baking she was right in the middle of things, wanting to help. She picks up books and brings them to us, then crawls into our lap to be read to. Certainly not a baby anymore! Pardon me as I go and wipe my tears!

One year ago today! Look at all that hair! 7 lbs. 13 oz of pure joy!






The birthday girl with her donut this morning. Such a sweet, laidback little toddler! (And I think she still has the exact same amount of hair she had then :)!)
